Our story

Vincent Straggas is an Emmy Award winning Filmmaker that has worked on National and International film and television productions for over 40 years. 

His public-broadcasting achievements range from studio directing and editing for such series as Masterpiece Theatre, Mystery!, Evening at the Pops, Long Ago and Far Away, Degrassi High, ZOOM, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?, The American Experience and Between the Lions.

Vincent has also a produced and directed for hundreds of studio productions ranging from live current affairs shows, children’s programs, comedy shows, variety entertainment specials and large-scale music productions. He's worked with artists such as Mark Farner, Nicholas Payton, Chucho Valdes, Chuck Mangione, Dave Brubeck, Bobby McFerrin, Lewis Black, Colin Quinn and many others.

Since 2001, Vincent has owned and operated Flagday Productions and has produced over 300 short films, and music videos.

He has also produced and directed eight award winning documentaries that have screened in theatrers nationwide and on, PBS and the CBC.
